• We clean every 7 days. This can be stretched out to 10 days if you require.

Our recommendation and the recommendation of the main breweries is 7 days.

  • We provide all of the chemicals for our services.

If you would prefer to provide the line cleaner, please discuss this with us. we are more than happy to adjust your price accordingly. We may refuse to use some chemicals due to their quality or age.

  • You will not be able to serve from the taps we are cleaning while we are cleaning them. You are more than welcome to serve from behind the bar but we must advise caution as the chemicals used are quite harmful to skin and eyes.

  • We are available throughout the day between 6am and 5pm.

We find it is usually better to complete the cleans when the venue is closed, this helps reduce the risk to staff and public, as well as reducing the down time of the bar. if you have a specific time you would like us to come, please let us know when booking in.

  • If we are completing your cleans for you then we will bring all of the PPE we need with us, we will also bring our own jugs and warning signs.

If you have purchased a training session and will be completing line cleaning training, you will be required to provide at a minimum 1 pair of goggles and chemical resistant gloves to each member of staff completing the training.

  • The best way is to email us at info@voyagershook.com. If that is not possible please give us a call or send a text, we will send a confirmation email over to you for the cancellation and offer alternative dates.

Please note, we require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations, any less than this may incur a 50% cancellation fee, this can be discussed at the time.

  • Like most of the large brewers we take health and safety very seriously. Flood water can harbour a multitude of harmful bacteria, and although we don’t intend to ingest any flood water, we also don’t want to spread any potential bacteria onto other surfaces and our homes. If a flood occurs please let us know in the first instance, we can assess the situation from there. Usually this would mean that we would not be able to attend until the area has been suitably cleaned to a professional standard and paperwork provided.

please note, this is a requirement of most large brewers, they will not attend for any repairs unless you have had the area affected professionally cleaned.

  • This would fall into a similar category as the flood with a slight difference. We may still be able to attend if there is evidence of rodents in the cellar along as the sign is not affecting the area we will be working in. generally this shouldn’t affect us much unless the floor is covered in rat waste.

Please note, as with flood damage most big brewers will not attend for any faults or installations until you have had a clean bill of health from a pest control company.

  • This would all depend on the lighting, if the cellar is above ground and there is an external door we can open for light then we will be ok. If the cellar is underground and is pitch black then unfortunately we would not be able to attend. As this would mean a cancellation we would need as much notice as possible. However, if the powercut has happened on the day of your appointment and can not be resolved in time we would not charge the cancellation fee.

  • Of coarse, as long as we do not have any other appointments that day we are more than happy to reschedule for a different time free of charge. If we are fully booked for that day but we have availability the next we may be able to squeeze you in.

  • We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. If we are given less than 24 hours we may need to charge a 50% cancellation fee.

This is subject to change however.

we understand that everyones situations change, there will always be instances where something happens that we can’t get out of, child care, doctors appointments etc. please reach out as soon as you can and we will see what we can do. If we have the space and we can reschedule for another time of that day, we will not charge the cancellation fee.

  • We are sorry you wish to cancel. Please send us an email at Info@voyagershook.com at least 30 days before you wish to end your contract. As written in the terms and conditions to cancel a yearly contract does incur a 30% cancellation fee, this is taken from the remaining monthly payments and billed accordingly.

  • Most defiantly, we offer a deep line cleaning service, prices start from £75 for 1-4 lines. We use a stronger solution to complete this and it may take more than one session depending on how bad the line/s are.

We can also sanitise lines that have been left with beer in for a prolonged period using a chemical called guardian. please contact us for prices on this as this will need to be left in the lines for a number of days and a revisit will be required to flush it out.

We are also able to offer shut downs. If you are not going to be using your bar or a few taps for a while, we can add the same sanitiser in to keep the lines fresh. this does need to be refreshed every 3 months.

The price to add guardian is as follows:

    £75 for 1-12 lines + £10 per line thereafter.

  • For the most part yes, we only carry a small number of parts for breakdowns as our main business is line cleaning.

But we will endeavour to get you up and running as quickly as we can, even if it is only temporarily until we can return with the correct part or the lead brewer can get to you.

we charge £60 for a call out during normal working hours and £50 per hour after, parts are added onto of this price.

    please contact us to discuss.

  • We most certainly can.

We can install any brands you require. We would need to brewer to supply the branding however.

We charge £60 for the initial call out and £50 per hour thereafter.

Parts are added on top of this price.

If the parts are supplied by the brewer then just the call out fee is payable which can usually be forwarded onto the brewery.

  • We accept card, cash and bank transfer. We will always provide an invoice for any service provided.

  • During a line clean with service review we will check over the following;

    • cellar temperature

    • cooler functionality

    • cooler levels

    • heat dump functionality

    • we will clean any dust from cooler grills that are accessible

    • Stock rotation

    • The functionality of couplers

    • Fob detectors

    • Pressures

    • Glassware

    • Glasswasher

    • Nozzles

    • Tap Function

    • Ensure there are no gas leaks.

We will advise of any faults during the visit. anything that risks health and safety or is critical non dispense will be advised immediately. All other faults will be written on the report and emailed over within 24 hours.
